I would think the games would be cheaper digitally downloaded. Because publishers wouldn’t have to worry about costs from making boxes for the games or shipping it. To me, everything about digitally distributing games sounds better. It’s cheaper, it’s instant, and games saved on the memory stick don’t kill the battery as much as the stupid umd’s do.

I agree with Nick, I have the hacked original 1000 PSP and honestly there is no poin in buying the PSP Go!. Although I will consider it to the people who do not have a PSP yet, for me I’ll wait for the PSP 2 if it has some cool shit. I still think “Nick Access” is a perfect name for this show lol

Yea i had a psp. fixed it twice and hacked it.;-) Anyway the only reason i think it would be good for sony to do digital distribution would be to make games bigger than the 1.5 gigs that umd had. I hope they take some time thought and make sure it can’t be pirated because that is what killed the last psp. As for beta testing for psp 2. ehh i don’t think thats what there doing. They need to majorly overhaul the psp before the release the psp 2. Until that i won’t pick up another psp system.

I don’t think Sony will come up with anything else then the UMD’s right now cause they have already put them self in a place where they have UMD and Digital Downloads. They will not just try this out and then scrap it cause it will be too much of a lost of money. Plus They are not going to stop making UMD’s they are still going to be made but its going to be that if they want a psp go they can just download all the games. They said they will still be having Both systems out so why stop one and just leave everyone hanging.

PSPgo will do alright but that is a high price point… with that in mind Sony needs to have some apps for the pspgo to get it off the selves. They need to have something on the handheld that everyone looks at it for a must have!

finaly i have a reason to buy a psp go.
i have to find out what hapens between assassins creed 1 and 2 so im planning on grabbing a psp with as bloodlines.
but which one im not shure, if sony goes ahead with the software that allows you to convert UMD disks and store it on your comps HDD or the psp go’s memory.
than i will get a psp go.
if they force you to download the games than theve lost me.
why wait a hour or so to download a game waste my download usage when i can go for a drive to the game shop and be playing it in 10 minutes.
and since its strictly intertwined with the internet i can see this getting hacked straight away, now if only some one could get one for the ps3…………….

not duh the psp go is a tester but i really dont see 250 a high price point think if they come out witha 8gb for 200 that still leaves place for the psp 3000 to shine. plus they have to be competitive with marketing price it at two hundred means . This product isnt worth nearly what a iphone / ipod is worth. Sony is right a new product new price 250 is prime. Another thing that people arent considering is that the pspgo is launching with a incredible line up of game assassins creed, gt, metal gear, lbp. these are system sellers. For most adults who play with the psp, this is right up their alley
    im provements
fits in pocket ( this is huge)
    blu tooth (no more cords)
    no umd’s (to carry around)
those are huge right their alone plus its lighter better fit to the hands.
forget 250 because i paid the more for a 16 gb ipod touch and you know what the games suck.

Every new console is a beta test for the next one… Hardly surprising. The fact is that the PSPGo is there to revitilize third party support for the system. But no doubt the next PSP will cater both digitally and physically in some kind of fashion.
