Watch, as amateur Anthony Ta assembles John Macaluso’s computing machine and brings it to life! We talked a lot about how owning a gaming PC may be “cheaper” in the long run, as well as how it is not as “hard” to build one these days as it used to be. Because John needed a computer, we had a system build on a budget of 800 dollars that can play games. Not counting the second-hand CPU or wireless network USB device, the shiny new parts costed about $750. Building the system took about three hours, which included getting confused on instructions, and committing some gaffes and procedures along the way that are bound to give PC builder professions a heart attack. Note that this video covers the physical build of the system, not the installation of software and system drivers.
